His time in Paris, while it was brief it also left a lasting impression. From the pages of The Sun Also Rises to Moveable Feast he added in some of his favorite places he spent time and wrote. On a cold December night in 1921, Ernest and Hadley arrived in Paris and stayed on Rue Jacob before finding an apartment on Rue de Cardinal Lemoine, and the rest is history.

Walk in his footsteps around Saint Germain where he lived, wrote drank, and captured in a way no one else ever could.

You can say the literary age of Paris was created in Od茅on. On one street alone many publishers and bookstores once set up shop including Sylvia Beach鈥檚 2nd location of Shakespeare and Co. Today, a few still remain but also it has become one of the greatest little triangles for restaurants including the popular collection of French Bistronomy chef Yves Camdeborde.

Once the favorite location of Anthony Bourdain, its mound of French Bordier butter will change your life. We will end the tour hear and enjoy the fantastic natural wine and Basque-style tapas.

It鈥檚 been five years since the fire came close to destroying the historic cathedral. Today, thanks to a team of dedicated craftsmen and women she is scheduled to reopen on December 8, 2024.

Join me for a walk around the cathedral for a lesson on the history of the beloved church that dates to the 12th century and where they are in the process of bringing her back to life.
